  My absolute favorite Pittsburgh Titans book.  I love the characters and I love how authentically the city is presented.  There are just so many things about this book to love.  I think readers will be envious of Mazzy’s bravery and spunk.  She does what she loves, and also does what she loves- not a typo but I don’t want to spoil.   Foster squeezes my soul with how much love he has for Bowie Jane. He gets that being a parent is number one, even when you are a super star and have it all.  There are lots of laughs watching these two navigate a new relationship where a little one is involved, even if she is scheming to get them together.  I really enjoyed this book so much.  My favorite!!! Swoon.  Grayson is just yummy and he is all mine! You are going to melt.    Clover and Grayson are my favorite couple in Puffin Bay.   Clover is just a sweet as can be and Grayson is gruff, arrogant, slightly rude… but you will fall in love with him. Clover will never leave Puffin Bay and adores her job as a Nanny.   When she finds herself out of work, she doesn’t know what she is going to do. No job, no money. When she helps a very difficult stranger on the side of the road, she never imagines it is the new hot doctor in town.   It just so happens he has an adorable son, Luca who needs looking after. Grayson doesn’t believe that people can be genuinely nice and he doesn’t trust that Clover is as kind as she seems.   However, he gives her a chance as a nanny.   Instead of proving his theories right, he realizes just how wrong he was as he starts to fall for the nanny.   Knocked it off the pitch!  I love the layers upon layers each character has and how they never do what you are expecting them too. I laughed out loud, shared their disappointments, and even shed a few tears.  This is one I will be reading over and over again.  Fletcher and his mustache take front and center in this book.  I thought that he was going to be a washed-up, arrogant jerk that lowered himself to play for the Pounders.  I was surprised at how wrong I was. Goldie is a ray of sunshine, but even under all her brilliance she has withstood some dark times.  When her dreams are dashed, she had to focus on new opportunities and she found a career she loved. She is about to leave Copper Valley for a once in a lifetime opportunity, when Fletcher steps on to her brother’s team and into her life.  When she uses Fletcher as her date to get back at her brother, she doesn’t expect to like him.  Things did not turn out like they expected. I’m a sucker for a bad boy and Silas is the man of my dreams. Blood thirsty, possessive, and just the right amount of dirty. The chemistry between Nika and Silas is incinerating. I was hooked on the plot right away.  This was a new kind of story line for Dark Fey and I really liked Nika’s power (I don’t want to give it away). I read this in one sitting because it was action packed and I just had to know what happens next. This book is chocked full of soul collection, shape shifters and magic you have never seen; AND of course, a love that will make you swoon. I can’t wait for the next book….   The Choosing is a fabulous fay version of the Bachelor, but with lots of treachery, passion, and way better than anything humans could imagine.   I so enjoyed reading this book. Brynleigh is a vampire out for revenge.   From the moment she is made, she trained with hate in her heart as an assassin to bring down her parents’ killer.   Revenge is her sole motivation.   But when she finally gets her change by being selected to participate in the Choosing, she soon learns that maybe things aren’t always what they seem.   Get in, kill Ryker, and get out right?   Except she never expected to fall in love with her parents’ killer.   Ryker agreed to the Choosing to fulfill his duty.   He never bargained on falling head over heals for the vampire beauty.   My favorite Opposites Attract couple.   Swoony computer hacker meets holistic yogi goddess! It is devilishly delightful watching Freya torture Roe before she brings him to his knees. Fate plays a cruel trick, and they are forced to share rent on a house in Puffin Bay.   Roe is annoyed with the gorgeous newcomer to Puffin Bay with her smelly potions and cheery personality.   Freya on the other hand has never met such a grump.   But, as time goes by, each seems to get less and less annoying. What I loved about this the most is while it kept me unable to put it down, there was not explosive drama or cataclysmic events.   It was so good, and relatable and real.   I love the series and I love Roe and Freya.   I cannot wait for more.  It has been a little while since I posted, but life has been a little insane.  I wanted to share this book because is it just really good.  Plain and simple... The Gossip and the Grump is guaranteed to improve your mental health!  You will smile, you will laugh and you will sigh. I love the lighthearted portrayal of two emotionally damaged characters finding love when they can barely even trust. Sabrina and Grey are such a great fit for each other and it is so much fun to watch the sparks fly.  Every time that I thought that Sabrina would react badly to Grey’s jerkiness, I was surprised and kind of inspired to be a better person.  I love that this story starts where Emma’s book ends and we get another look at what has happened with Emma and the dirt bag, Chandler; and how it all ties into this book. As always, the animals in Pippa’s books steal the show, and Jitter is no exception.  I think my next best friend will be a Saint Bernard. This story has all the good stuff: humor, snark, w
