I am totally obsessed with this series.  I absolutely loved that this was a new story line, but included some of our favorite characters from the original story.  This story begins at the end of The Rise of Fortune and Fury (Chronicles of the Stone Veil Book 5) .   Fabulous! Smoking hot English gentleman with just the right kind of alpha grumpiness. This book ya’all…. It is all my favorite genres- grumpy billionaire, enemies-to-lovers, and single dad- rolled into one delicious package. Zeke stole my heart with his grumpy, broody vulnerability and naughty mouth. Catrin’s hilarious hang-up about her car and her feistiness really give Zeke a run for his money.   The banter between these two made me laugh out loud.   This book begins at the end of the Wedding Agreement (it is a standalone- but if you haven’t read it yet- jump to it).  You will be lucky indeed if this lands in your e-reader or on your porch! So many stars for this book that it could light up the night.   I fell helplessly in love with Otter and Ryan.   It is just impossible not to!   Ryan is the perfect mix of alpha grumpy and romantic with enough naughtiness to make a bad girl blush.   Otter is strong, independent, funny and just a bit vulnerable.   Their first encounter is funny and spicy and sweet and I simply could not stop reading.  Isn't Hayes yummy? I can’t stop smiling!  This book is just so much fun.  Every time I think that I find my favorite Hero, and fall hopelessly in love, Pippa makes another even swoonier, sexier, funnier, character.   It is also amazing how each female character is so relatable and you can’t help seeing a little of yourself in her.   Hayes and Begonia are the “Awwww” couple of the century. The story has plenty of hilarity and mishaps, which is the very thing that Pippa Grant’s fans love.      I don’t know how so much goodness is packed into one story, but it is therapy and entertainment rolled in one.
