The Secret Hook-up is a fan favorite for me! The Copper Valley books are pure sunshine and happiness. As expected, The Secret Hook-up was laugh my pants off funny. Addie constantly feels the pressure of being a woman in a man’s world, as the batting coach to the famous Copper Valley Fireballs. She’s got a chip on her shoulder, and with reason. The past has taught her to never look weak; and she is convinced that love is not in her cards. Duncan Lavoie, star player of Copper Valley Thrusters is everything that she wanted, but nothing she could allow herself. When their secret dating got too serious, her fear got the best of her and she sent him on his way.  It was the biggest mistake of her life. A few years later a hilarious “rescue” occurs and her hero is none other than the hot hunk of man, Duncan Lavoie. Duncan is not going to give her a second chance to run away. He knows that there is something more and that Addie is worth fighting for.

I absolutely loved it.  I found the book to be a real pick-me-up; make me smile; have a great week kind of treat.

    The best kind of second chance/ friends to lovers/ secret romance!  I love this story so much, because of the unsuspecting second chance at love.
