This is part two of Daphne and Emerson’s story, and it is next level dark and thrilling (it starts with Dark Reign). I didn’t even see some of it coming. Daphne makes a mistake and trades one gilded cage for another. When Emerson captures her, he also captivates her and she can’t help falling in love with one of the most broken people in the world. She realizes that they face some of the same demons, but his are much worse, and once she starts to unravel them, she starts to understand how complex he really is. While untangling his secrets, she also has to face some of her own dark desires. The depth of characters, the level of passion, and the emotion will have you gasping, blushing, and crying right along with the hero and heroine.
THE GRUMPY PLAYER NEXT DOOR is LIVE!! And #Free in #KindleUnlimited ! Copper Valley Fireballs book #3, Max Cole and Tillie Jean Rock's book is HERE! The Grumpy Player Next Door An enemies-to-lovers / sports / grumpy-sunshine / neighbor romance I, Tillie Jean Rock, am not in love with my brother’s teammate. Sure, he might have those biceps and that “I am the grouchiest of grouchy bears” smolder, and he might shovel snow off his driveway next door wearing nothing but boxer shorts and rubber boots, and he might be running a side business feeding all the stray goats in town, but studliness is only skin-deep. And I might flirt with him every chance I get, but I swear it’s only to annoy my brother. And him. Because Max Cole? Under all of those glorious muscles and chiseled cheekbones and searing glares beats the heart of a heartless devil. I could no sooner fall in love with a guy who treats me like a kid, and judges me at every opportunity, and sets an army of garden gnomes loose o
The Choosing is a fabulous fay version of the Bachelor, but with lots of treachery, passion, and way better than anything humans could imagine. I so enjoyed reading this book. Brynleigh is a vampire out for revenge. From the moment she is made, she trained with hate in her heart as an assassin to bring down her parents’ killer. Revenge is her sole motivation. But when she finally gets her change by being selected to participate in the Choosing, she soon learns that maybe things aren’t always what they seem. Get in, kill Ryker, and get out right? Except she never expected to fall in love with her parents’ killer. Ryker agreed to the Choosing to fulfill his duty. He never bargained on falling head over heals for the vampire beauty. His world is turned upside down when civil unrest threatens to tear down his perfectly orderly world. He never imagines that the Choosing will be his undoing… or will it be Brynleigh’s?
